EPOXY HR – 150 -200 °C

Epoxy HR is a heat resistant coating suitable for temperatures up to 205 °C (401 °F) continuous. It is also suitable for cryogenic temperatures, down to -196 °C (-321 °F), can be used for both insulated and non-insulated substrates. Epoxy HR has very good water resistance, which gives it excellent corrosion protection properties. It significantly prolongs the lifetime of an asset, reducing the maintenance need and the risk of corrosion under insulation (CUI) – avoiding unnecessary and costly shutdowns. Epoxy HR is suitable for maintenance situations and can be applied on hot substrates up to 150 °C and St2 surface preparation. The product has proven its excellent performance over the last 20 years of successful applications globally.

SOLVALITT MIDTHERM UP TO 250 °C

Solvalitt Midtherm is a one component, physically drying silicone acrylic coating providing a durable aesthetic finish that is heat resistant up to 260 °C. Solvalitt Midtherm is compatible with all products in our heat resistant Jotatemp range. It is suitable for non-insulated surfaces and can be used as a primer, midcoat or finish coat in atmospheric environments. One component simplicity eases the application. Solvalitt Midtherm is available in 15 high-temperature stable colours with non-chalking properties. Additional colours may be tinted over MCI (restrictions may apply). Solvalitt Midtherm is also available in an aluminium variant – Solvalitt Midtherm Alu.

Solvalitt is available in 14 hightemperature stable colours with non-chalking properties. Additional colours may be tinted over MCI (restrictions may apply). Solvalitt is also available in an aluminum variant – Solvalitt Alu.

JOTATEMP 250

Jotatemp 250 is a two-component glass flake reinforced epoxy composite coating resistant to temperatures up to 250 °C and low temperatures down to -196 °C. Jotatemp 250 can be used as a primer, midcoat or finish coat in atmospheric environments, and is suitable for insulated and non-insulated surfaces. The product is available in four colours. Jotatemp 250 offers excellent corrosion protection due to the barrier protection provided by the 15% glass flakes. The product is particularly suitable for use under insulation and helps prevent corrosion under insulation (CUI). Jotatemp 250 offers good corrosion protection at ambient conditions during construction and shut-down periods. Jotatemp 250 has the highest temperature resistance in the market for this type of technology and provides safety even during steam outs at temperatures above normal operating temperature – giving you operational flexibility. Jotatemp 250 can be applied on hot substrates up to 150 °C and on substrates prepared to St2.

JOTATEMP 1000

Jotatemp 1000 is a heat resistant primer with the market’s widest operating temperature range. As an inert multipolymeric matrix coating, Jotatemp 1000 is resistant to temperatures as low as -196 °C and as high as 1000 °C continuously (where substrates allow). Jotatemp 1000 is suitable for insulated and non-insulated surfaces and can be used as a primer or a finish coat in atmospheric environments. It offers optimised corrosion protection of carbon steel at ambient temperatures during construction and shutdown periods. This coating offers excellent corrosion protection under insulation at operational temperatures exceeding 250 °C. Using Jotatemp 1000 can reduce the need for costly maintenance shutdowns as it can be applied on hot substrates up to 250 °C and accepts St2 surface preparation. It cures in ambient conditions, which improves the anti-corrosive properties and increases abrasion resistance, greatly reducing the need for on-site touch-ups. Jotatemp 1000 does not chalk under UV exposure since the binder formulation is based on inorganic chemistry. The coating passes standard tests for preventing corrosion under insulation. Jotatemp 1000 is optimised for carbon steel and ceramic substrates. For other substrates please contact your local TSS.
